What is this course about?

In this course, you’ll learn medical 3D printing. The course will cover the foundations of computer-aided design, designing for 3D printing, FDM manufacturing, materials, connections and post-processing. The course will culminate in a real-world medical 3D printing project with our excellent facilities at the Monash Makerspace.

We have added a mechatronics component in response to overwhelming interest, where you will learn how to build and design smart products. This component will cover the basics of embedded programming, including electrical debugging, microcontroller functions, digital/analog control, state machines, communication and peripheral I/O.

[Please note that some recordings are long as we have many interactive exercises. The more efficient auditing method is to read through the slides and refer to the recordings as needed.]
